CSSW Appeals
CSSW offers several types of appeals for students who need financial support beyond their aid package.
Eligibility
Full-time and part-time students may appeal if they have unmet financial need, emergency expenses that exceed their financial aid budget, or been denied a federal education loan
International students are considered on a case-by-case basis.
How Appeals Are Reviewed
A committee reviews all appeals and determines recipients. Financial need is assessed using your FAFSA data, and you may submit supplemental documentation if applicable.
Most appeals are awarded on a one-time basis and are non-renewable. Decisions depend on the availability of funding, CSSW may adjust funding if needed.
Other Funding Options
We recognize that our funding is limited and cannot meet every need. We also recommend reviewing External Scholarship Resources and Competitive Awards at CSSW.
