- Identify tools to screen for and assess SUDs
- Create treatment plans to address co-occurring mental health diagnoses and SUDs
- Understand external resources and treatment referrals for SUDs and when to utilize these tools in the context of outpatient mental health care
- Understand how substance use can lead to clinical symptom misinterpretations

Dr. Sam Lookatch (bio) is a a licensed clinical psychologist specializing in the treatment of substance use and other co-occurring mental health disorders. She serves as an instructor in Medical Psychology/ Psychiatry at CUMIC with a join appointment at NewYork-Presbyterian / Columbia University Irving Medical Center.
