ABOUT THE EVENT
In collaboration with Columbia School of Social Work, the Latino Leadership Institute offers a daylong virtual training to mobilize the social work community to get out the vote, including sessions on building a message and handling media. Speakers will include Jerry Goldfeder, Esq., Steve Kramer, Juan Manuel Benitez, Eli Valentin, and Mike Nieves.
The training also includes the lunchtime panel “Celebrating the Centenary of Many Women’s Right to Vote in the U.S.,” to be moderated by current CSSW student Sarah Jamgotch and featuring several women who are elected officials or union leaders:
