Sarah Feeney
Sarah Feeney, LCSW, is the Associate Director of Advising at Columbia School of Social Work, bringing over a decade of experience as a school-based clinical social worker in New York City. She has served in a variety of educational settings, from providing trauma-informed care in NYC public schools in the height of the pandemic, to founding the social work program at a dual-language charter elementary school, and to leading school-based mental health services through an OMH-licensed outpatient program. Her work has focused on bilingual, culturally responsive and sustaining practices as well as school-wide social-emotional learning programming to support children, adolescents, and families. At CSSW, she teaches School-Based Services: Issues, Programs, and Policies and Topics in Integrated Practice and Programming: Supervision and Staff Development. Outside of educational settings, Sarah also maintains a small private practice utilizing a CBT and trauma-informed lens.
