Leny Bolivar

Leny Virginia Bolivar, MS, LCSW, is a distinguished mental health professional with more than 15 years of experience in clinical psychology and social work. She has held pivotal roles, including Director of the Children’s Mobile Crisis Team and Mental Health Clinics at the Association to Benefit Children in New York, where she led strategic planning and program development. Leny has extensive clinical experience, she has served as a child and family therapist for underserved communities, and has work in diverse settings: Schools, hospitals, and community-based centers. Currently, Leny is the Director of Mental Health Administration and Strategy for the Association to Benefit Children and has a private practice in New York City.

Leny holds a master’s degree in social work from New York University and a Clinical Psychology master’s degree level from Universidad Central de Venezuela. She also obtained a post-master’s degree in executive leadership for the non-for-profit sector at NYU. She is a licensed clinical social worker and psychologist, with extensive training in various therapeutic techniques. Her passion for supporting the new generation of mental health professionals has led her to focus on evidence-based practices trainings and providing reflective supervision. Fluent in English and Spanish, Leny is known for her strong interpersonal skills, dedication to fighting inequality, and ability to build effective partnerships.
