Kristin Battista-Frazee
Kristin supports the online campus and east coast and part of the southwest portfolio. She has prior experience as a marketing professional and freelance writer. She is also the author of the memoir, The Pornographer's Daughter (Skyhorse Publishing, 2014), and co-screenwriter for In Deep, a TV drama series based on her book. Kristin started her career as a social worker at an agency providing services to olderĀ adults and parlayed her interest in improving people's lives into legislative and communications work on Capitol Hill. She also served in marketing and communications roles at corporate start-ups, non-profit organizations, and advocacy organizations dedicated to raising awareness about mental health issues, providing online graduate degrees and continuing education, and improving policies to support behavioral health providers. She has published articles and blogs for The Huffington Post, New York Journal of Books, Thrillist, ELLE Magazine (Australia), NASW News, and Social Work Today. Kristin wrote a bi-monthly personal branding column Your Social Work Brand for New Social Worker Magazine. She was a contributor to The Daily Beast and published articles about the adult industry and the controversy surrounding pornography. Kristin graduated from Florida State University with a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology and Columbia University with a Master of Science in Social Work Degree.
