Jennifer Lee

Jennifer Lee is a social worker focused on providing trauma-informed care and strengthening child protection and gender-based violence response and prevention systems globally. Jennifer has over a decade of experience in the humanitarian sector, where she has worked on gender-based violence and child protection initiatives in South Africa, Rwanda, Lebanon, Iraq, Myanmar, Niger, Yemen, Mexico, South Sudan, Poland, and Ukraine. Jennifer has also worked extensively to improve the quality of and access to services for child survivors of sexual abuse in humanitarian settings and most recently supported the development of the 2nd edition of the Caring for Child Survivors of Sexual Abuse Resource Package. Jennifer currently also works as a Trauma Therapist, providing Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Child-Parent Psychotherapy, and Trauma-Focused Psychotherapy to child and adult survivors of sexual violence, intimate partner violence, and other crimes.
