Elizabeth Wolfson

Elizabeth Wolfson, PHD., LCSW is a licensed psychotherapist, educator, and organizational consultant based in Santa Barbara, California.  In addition to academic degrees from New York University and Boston University, her training includes Certification in Psychedelic-Assisted Therapy and Research from California Institute of Integral Studies, MDMA Therapy Training from Multidisciplinary Association for Psychedelic Studies (MAPS) and Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy from the Ketamine Training Center. Additionally, she is trained and certified in Embodied Leadership and Integrative Somatic Trauma Therapy.  She previously served as Vice President of Clinical Services for Field Trip Health, an international Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy company. Prior to that, she was faculty and Chair of Antioch University Santa Barbara’s Clinical Psychology Graduate Program where she taught and developed and directed programs in Healthy Aging, Somatic Psychotherapy, and Leadership. She previously taught at Columbia University School of Social Work and assumed leadership roles in mental health service organizations.  

Dr. Wolfson has published and presented on Psychedelic-Supportive Psychotherapy, Ketamine-Assisted Therapy, creativity, intimate relationship, psychotherapeutic processes, trauma, gender, and healthy aging. Dr. Wolfson has also been Organizational Consultant to Pacifica Graduate Institute, is co-founder of two non-profit organizations, and served on several non-profit boards. Her practice in Santa Barbara California provides psychotherapy and Ketamine- Assisted Therapy through individual, couples and group modalities.
