Congratulations, Class of 2025!
We are excited to celebrate all that you have accomplished during your time at the School of Social Work! The Columbia School of Social Work Graduation Ceremony will take place on Tuesday, May 20, 2025 from 10:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.

Time: 10:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.
Graduate Arrival Time: 9:00 a.m.
Doors Open for Guests: 9:30 a.m.
Location: Rocco B. Commisso Soccer Stadium at Baker Athletics Complex
Graduates will be able to order up to eight (8) tickets each. Each person aged two (2) or older will require a ticket. The graduation registration and ticket ordering site link is forthcoming. There will be an opportunity to request additional guest tickets (though, they are not guaranteed). This form to request additional tickets will be released in April.
The 2025 CSSW Commencement Speaker will be Desmond Upton Patton, the Brian and Randi Schwartz University Professor and PIK University Professor at the University of Pennsylvania’s School of Social Policy & Practice. Read more about Professor Patton here.
Full academic regalia is optional, but encouraged at the Columbia School of Social Work Graduation. Full academic regalia is required to participate in University Commencement. The regalia resource page can be found here.
