Does the School of Social Work organize any career fairs or other events?
Yes. The Office of Career & Leadership Development co-sponsors the Citywide Master’s Level Social Work Job Fair every year in partnership with several schools of social work in the New York City area. The next Master’s Level Social Work Job Fair will be held on Friday, March 23, 2018 from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM at Columbia University’s Lerner Hall. Employers are also welcome to visit the Columbia School of Social Work at any time, and the Office of Career and Leadership Development can arrange for you to meet with interested students through information sessions in which you present on your organization’s culture and career opportunities. Alternatively, employers may post information about job opportunities for students and alumni to review on Career Connect.
