- We raised just over $25,000 for financial aid.
- Participation increased by 44 percent over last year. There were 143 donors according to the latest report. They included alumni, students, and friends from all over the world, from Beijing to St. Thomas, as well as a wide spread of graduating classes: 1947-2014.
- University-wide, 83 alumni, students and friends volunteered as Columbia Giving Day Ambassadors to build enthusiasm and momentum around Giving Day, reaching a total of nearly 70,000 people within their social networks. At least 15 of these Ambassadors represented CSSW. One of them, Safiatou Coulibaly (MS’14), brought glory and visibility to CSSW by taking second place in the bid to earn points for numbers of posts and shared links, with 8,970 points!
