Attention Class of 2013: Don’t Miss This Major Networking Opportunity

March 1, 2013 @ 8:30 pm

March is here and while that means spring for some CUSSW students, for others it means springing to the next step. Is there life—or better yet, a job—beyond graduate school? Two in the latter group, Claire Schoen and Chris Eagar-Finney, have sprung to action on behalf of the Class of 2013, which besides other Two Years like themselves includes some Advanced Standing students and 16-monthers.

Both Claire and Chris are active in student government—known here at the Student Union Executive Board, or SUEB. They have used SUEB’s organizing power to create a new, and what they hope will be more effective, kind of networking opportunity: a networking brunch with CUSSW alumni. The event, to be held on Sunday, March 3rd, features several panels of CUSSW alums talking about their work, and a chance to interact with them over muffins, sandwiches, and other scrumptious offerings.

In this short video, Claire and Chris tell us why they are active in SUEB as well as why they’re so psyched about this networking event. (Note to other upcoming graduates: If you haven’t sprung for this event yet, get going! It’s not too late to sign up.)
