Dr. Victoria Osborne served as an assistant research professor at Saint Louis University School of Medicine, and an assistant professor of social work and public health at the University of Missouri. Her research focuses on Screening and Brief Intervention and Referral to Treatment (SBIRT) for alcohol misuse, studying the effectiveness of implementing and maintaining SBIRT in primary care practices, understanding marijuana use for pain in older adults, and developing substance use patient education and health promotion campaigns. She trains health professionals and students in SBIRT. Dr. Osborne holds a PhD in social work from Washington University.
