Nancy Ring, LCSW, is a clinical social worker in private practice specializing in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). with experience in psychiatry and mental health. She has served in community mental health agencies, criminal justice settings, inpatient and outpatient psychiatric services in academic and private hospitals, teaching institutes, and private practice. Since 1998, Ms. Ring has focused on DBT across varied settings and populations, including direct clinical practice, skills training, family consultation, consultation team leadership, and supervision. In private practice, she provides DBT to individuals with personality disorder and co-occurring Axis I diagnosis and DBT-based family consultation. She is a regular guest lecturer on DBT-related subjects.

Ms. Ring earned her undergraduate degree from Syracuse University and her MSW from New York University Ehrenkrantz School of Social Work. She holds a post graduate certificate in teaching from Hunter College School of Social Work, and advanced clinical training in Dialectical Behavior Therapy.
