Marisa Mabli, LCSW, served as an individual and group therapist, supervisor, and administrator at Bridge Back to Life, an outpatient substance abuse treatment center in Coney Island. She provided services for adults, adolescents, couples, and families struggling with and impacted by addiction. Using a variety of client-centered approaches, Ms. Mabli specialized in providing therapy to dually diagnosed clients. She has also worked with adolescents, homeless adults and families, and young children. Her practice uses principles of mindfulness and motivational interviewing. In addition to her work at Columbia, she also teaches within the CUNY system at Kingsborough Community College.
Ms. Mabli earned her BA in Social Sciences Interdisciplinary at SUNY Stony Brook, and her MSW at Simmons College. She holds a post-graduate certificate in Spirituality and Social Work.
