Mr. Jarron Magallanes, LCSW, ACSW, is a social welfare doctoral student at CUNY Graduate Center, and serves on the faculty at Hunter College Silberman School of Social Work, where he teaches Advanced Clinical Practice to MSW students. He has served as a clinical social worker and social work manager in community-based and hospital healthcare settings, homeless services, HIV/AIDS prevention, and domestic violence. He also maintains a private practice in New York City. His research interests include quantitative research methods, LGBTQ issues, medical care coordination and chronic disease management, HIV prevention interventions, and program evaluation. He holds an MS from the Columbia School of Social Work.
