Who’s who in OSP?

OSP is overseen by Julien Teitler, PhD, Professor and Senior Associate Dean of Research and Academic Affairs. We are located on the 6th floor and are comprised of the following staff:

Katherine Rochmat, Director
Katherine Rochmat has worked at Columbia since the fall of 2000 in various positions in centers, departments and central administration at both CUMC and Morningside. She has experience in all aspects of sponsored projects management as well as in other administrative and financial procedures at the university. She is interested in understanding process and information flow and she enjoys working with faculty.

Amanda Kay Erekson, Associate Director

Amanda Erekson has been with OSP since spring 2012 and has completed Columbia’s Sponsored Projects Certification Program in research compliance. Prior to joining the School of Social Work, Ms. Erekson worked in operations and administration for several nonprofit organizations.  She has a Masters of Science in Information and Knowledge Strategy from Columbia School of Professional Studies where she learned “to plan and lead knowledge and information services, improve collaboration and networks, and create innovative knowledge products.”

Saenam Kim, Grants Manager
Saenam joined OSP in 2019 with experience in the non-profit field, both in program management and administrative roles in anti-violence work. She is an alumna of Columbia School of Social Work’s MSW program and is looking forward to supporting the school’s mission.

Katie Ulin, Grants Manager
Katie joined OSP in summer 2017. She worked previously in management at non-profit and social business organizations, both domestically and internationally, with a focus on healthcare. Katie has an MBA from Oregon Health and Science University, and is excited to apply her financial and project management skills at OSP.
