Trélan Nicole Holder
Trélan Nicole Holder, LCSW, is a psychotherapist with counseling experience in mental health and human services. In 2014, she founded Renew Perspectives, which provides continuing education for Licensed Social Workers. She has served as a clinician and director at the City College of New York Wellness and Counseling Center, and previously served at the Children’s Hospital at the Montefiore Medical Center Adolescent AIDS Program.
Ms. Holder’s human services experience includes municipal employment with leading New York City child welfare agencies. She studied abroad as a visiting social work scholar at the University of Cape Town as part of a program through NYU’s Steinhardt Graduate School of Education. She completed postgraduate training in psychodynamic psychotherapy at the NYU Institute for Psychoanalytic Education. Ms. Holder holds a BS in psychology from Clark University, a certificate in bioethics and medical humanities from Albert Einstein College of Medicine and Cardozo Law School, and an MSW from the Columbia School of Social Work.
