Dr. Susan Simring maintains a private practice specializing in work with families and couples. She has taught courses in psychopathology and social work practice with families at CSSW since 1990. Dr. Simring was a full time faculty member at NYU School of Social Work from 1984-1990, and an adjunct at Seton Hall University and Wurzweiler School of Social Work. She has co-authored several articles on marriage, divorce and family therapy. She has also co-authored two books: The Compatibility Quotient (1990) and Making Marriage Work for Dummies (1999).
Dr. Simring earned an advanced certificate in family therapy from the Family Therapy Institute of New Jersey, and her MSW and DSW from the Columbia School of Social Work.
