Nancy F. Cincotta
Nancy Cincotta, LCSW, MPhil, is currently a psychosocial consultant for over a dozen programs nationwide. She has worked in non-profit, hospital, and academic settings throughout her 40+ years as a social worker. She has extensive expertise working with children with life-threatening illnesses and their families, and bereaved family members in individual, family, group, and retreat settings. Ms. Cincotta is widely published in this area and has presented extensively on a national and international level, having held multiple leadership positions. Ms. Cincotta served as an adjunct faculty member at Columbia in the 1980s and 1990s and returned in 2019 to the online program. She also serves as a mentor and faculty member in the Smith School of Social Work End of Life Certificate Program, and at New York University in the Zelda Foster Studies Program. Additionally, she serves as a Field Instructor at the Ovarian Cancer Research Alliance for Columbia and Smith social work students.
