Maria Astudillo

Maria Astudillo oversees programs for school-based social and emotional support programs at Partnership with Children. In the past three decades, she has served as the Deputy Director of the Health and Wellness Division at Children’s Aid Society, and at several other youth oriented mental health organizations in New York City including Mount Sinai Adolescent Health Center, New York Presbyterian Hospital-Weill Cornell Medical College, and NY Child Study Center. She has experience working with children and families exposed to trauma, and brings a trauma lens approach to her work.

Ms. Astudillo works pro bono for several national not for profit  agencies serving undocumented Latino children and families. She has been involved in research funded by UNICEF to address the needs of unaccompanied minors living in NYC. Ms. Astudillo holds a master’s in social work from Yeshiva University, a Post Graduate Certificate in Advance Clinical Social Work from Hunter College, and a Post Master’s Certificate in Executive Leadership in the Not-For-Profit Sector from NYU.
