Lucy Nonas-Barnes

Lucy Nonas-Barnes is a highly accomplished and dedicated social work professional with a deep passion for helping individuals overcome their challenges and lead fulfilling lives. As an alumnus of CSSW, Lucy specialized in contemporary social issues and completed the Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) Training Program. Currently, pursuing her PhD at Rutgers University, Lucy obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree with a major in Social Anthropology from the University of Michigan. This multidisciplinary background has provided her with a unique perspective on human behavior and societal dynamics. Throughout her career, Lucy has gained valuable experience working in various clinical and community-based settings including jails and prisons, child welfare, intensive outpatient therapy, and private practice. With an extensive educational background and practice experience, Lucy brings a wealth of knowledge to the classroom.
