Jonah Nelson

Jonah Nelson is attorney, advocate, and writer based in Brooklyn.

A labor organizer by training, he has been involved in successful organizing drives at Zara, Resorts World Casino, and NBC Studios. He twice received the Peggy Browning Fund Fellowship for workers’ rights, clerked for the National Labor Relations Board, has represented unemployment insurance claimants in New York State, and later represented several large labor unions in New York City composed of both public and private-sector employees in multiple industries.

His writing has appeared in Haaretz Newspaper and the Jewish Daily Forward.

He holds a BA from Montclair State University, and a JD from the CUNY School of Law.
