David Bolt

David Bolt is a licensed clinical social worker whose practice is in improving the systems that support vulnerable populations. He has worked in the healthcare industry for a decade in a variety of positions. David was one of the key leaders in implementing the first fully integrated Medicaid managed care program for children in foster care, juvenile justice and adoption assistance in Georgia. This program improved outcomes for youth in foster care and the juvenile justice system while providing fiscal certainty for the state. In that position he helped design the Medicaid care coordination program for Georgia as well as consulting for several other states on special population healthcare program design. Currently, he is a senior consultant at a non-profit healthcare company.

David received his Bachelor of Social Work from the University of Georgia, his Master’s of Social Work from Georgia State University and a second Master’s degree in Adult Education. He is completing his Doctorate in Social Work at the University of Alabama where his research focus is on integrating mental health promotion strategies and services into the workplace.
