Clive Belfield is professor of Economics at Queens College, City University of New York. He teaches microeconomics, economic evaluation, and environmental economics. He is the co-director of the Center for Benefit-Cost Studies at Teachers College, Columbia; a research affiliate at the Community College Research Center at Teachers College, Columbia; and an instructor at the The Evaluators Institute, Claremont Graduate University.
A specialist in cost effectiveness analysis, Dr. Belfield has conducted research on the economics of education. He has published three books and over fifty articles in peer-reviewed journals. Dr. Belfield holds a PhD in economics from the University of Exeter, England.
