Candice Goldberg

Candice Goldberg, LCSW, has served as a social worker and supervisor in settings including an urban medical center, a social services agency, and the NYC public school system. Throughout her career, she has maintained an interest in working with individuals and families on trauma, sibling relationships, chronic illness, and grief and loss.

Ms. Goldberg completed a postgraduate clinical externship program at the Ackerman Institute for the Family, and completed a certificate program in Somatic Experiencing. She has previously taught family therapy at the NYU Child Study Center, and she lectures on a variety of family therapy and clinical social work topics. She maintains a private practice on the Upper West Side of Manhattan, where she works with individuals, couples, and families. She is a Clinical Associate of the Ackerman Institute’s Center for Families and Health, where she works with families affected by illness. She earned her Master’s degree from the Columbia School of Social Work in 1996.
