Bridgette Thom

Bridgette Thom is a senior research specialist at Memorial Sloan Kettering Center, where she conducts research relating to cancer survivorship. Specifically, she addresses the financial impact
of cancer and resultant disparities in treatment adherence and health/mental health services use, and her work focuses on adolescent and young adult cancer patients and survivors. Her dissertation research assessed substance use disparities in sexual and gender minority youth.

Dr. Thom received her BA from New York University’s Gallatin School of Individualized Study and earned her MSW and PhD from the Columbia School of Social Work.
