Dr. Bonnie Pollak is a psychotherapist working with individuals and couples on a broad array of mental health issues. Dr. Pollak has taught many courses at various institutions, including Human Rights at Fordham University Graduate School of Social Service, Survivors of Trauma at Touro School of Social Work, Palliative Care at Wurzweiler School of Social Work, and Loss Across the Lifespan at Rutgers School of Social Work. She has also volunteered in her community to work with people who have been impacted by Covid-19.
Dr. Pollak worked for over four years at at Red Door Community, formerly known as Gilda’s Club, as group facilitator for people who have lost loved ones and with individuals who are living with advanced cancer .
Dr. Pollak received her PhD at Wurzweiler School of Social Work. Before becoming a social worker, Dr. Pollak worked as an attorney for over two decades, lobbying at the United Nations and in other positions.
