Ayanna Ferguson
Ayanna Ferguson, LCSW is a dynamic leader with over 15 years of experience in higher education, external affairs, human service and community development; recognized for developing organizational assessment tools and innovative system changes that increase efficiency for programs. Ayanna Ferguson has managed policy research on behalf of the Children’s Defense Fund in Washington, D.C. while working to engage congress and legislative bodies to promote and strengthen Federal Child Welfare and Education Policies.
She is a Child and Family Therapist and uses her skills and experience in treatment and in classrooms facilitating learning and best practice for future leaders. She is inspired by the transformations she sees in the families who participate in therapy. Throughout her years of experience working in clinical settings, learning communities and behavioral health settings she has developed an effective style of guiding, educating and advocating for others as they take steps towards their growth and healing.
