About the Workshop

Self-compassion helps us generate kindness towards ourselves and be present with our imperfect humanity. It is a powerful human capacity that helps motivate us to make changes in our lives—not out of a sense of inadequacy, but rather out of a sense of caring for ourselves and an acknowledgment of our suffering.

Join Brian Mundy, LCSW (bio) for a 3-hour workshop on Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT). Participants will learn simple tools for helping patients respond to their suffering in kind and compassionate ways. The workshop will utilize meditation, role plays, and group exercises to demonstrate the foundations of CFT and provide clinicians with tools that can fit well with any modality they practice, be it CBT, DBT, ACT, traditional psychoanalysis, or other modalities.

For more information, including full presenter bio and workshop learning objectives, please see the registration page.
