About the Seminar

Drawing on her decades of providing care, developing programs, and conducting research with marginalized populations who use drugs with, or are at risk for, HIV infection, Chinazo Cunningham (bio) will discuss community-based strategies for improving access to care and health care services for people with opioid use disorder. Dr. Cunningham is one of the investigators on the federal grant, one of Columbia’s largest ever, recently awarded to Dr. Nabila El-Bassel, to address the current opioid epidemic in 15 counties across New York State.
