ABOUT THE EVENT

Pastor, author, and social justice advocate Rev. Dr. William J. Barber II returns to the Latino Institute and the Columbia School of Social Work to address the themes at the core of our joint Social Work Votes campaign. Among his many affiliations and distinctions, he is president and senior lecturer of Repairers of the Breach, co-chair of the Poor People’s Campaign: A National Call for Moral Revival, and a visiting professor at Union Theological Seminary. For full biographical details, please visit the registration page.

NOTE: This event will begin with a screening of Stronger Than The Bullet: The Prequel, a super short documentary directed by Gilda Brasch, who will also be present. The event will be moderated by current CSSW student Sarah Jamgotch.
