PRESENTERS

Syrian by birth, he has lived in Syria for most of his life, earning a bachelor’s degree in agriculture engineering in 2008 and working for a year as a research assistant at an international agricultural research center. Before coming to the United States, he spent seven years working with the United Nations World Food Programme responding to needs of millions of refugees and internally displaced people in Syria, particularly on the issue of food security.
