The Doctoral Program at the School of Social Work invites all students to attend the first presentation in its PhD Career Paths Series. Inaugural speaker Dr. Ji Seon Lee will give a talk titled “It Isn’t Always a Straight Line: Finding Your Way Through an Academic Career.”
Dr. Lee is currently the Associate Provost for Faculty Affairs at Fordham University. She is also a social work educator and innovative problem solver with a solid understanding of higher education administration, markets, and systems. She received her PhD and MSW from the School of Social Work, an MPA from the School of International and Public Affairs, and her BA from SUNY Stony Brook. Her scholarly work focuses on addressing health disparities among older adults and minority groups, with an emphasis on home care policy, health communication, and chronic illnesses.
