The Office for Faculty Advancement and the School of Social Work invite you to a panel discussion on engaging our communities through transformative scholarship. This program will highlight the research contributions of recently hired Columbia faculty engaged in scholarship that elevates Black youth, promotes racial justice, and supports the dismantling of structures that hinder Black joy. Panelists will describe how their research makes room for Black joy and how to engage with and encourage Black youth communities. All Columbia affiliates and neighboring community members, including children, are invited to attend. A light lunch will be provided immediately following the panel discussion.
