Medication non-adherence is widely recognized as a long-standing problem occurring in the prescription-taking population. Motivational Interviewing (MI), a person-centered form of guided dialogue, is a well-supported intervention that has helped both prescribing and non-prescribing practitioners to address challenges around medication non-adherence and broader medication management. In this webinar, Dr. Allen Zweben (bio) and Mary Piepmeier (bio) will review the most recent literature on MI and medication management and demonstrate how to utilize MI strategies with diverse clients in various settings. Standardized tools and measures to preemptively address medication non-adherence will also be presented.
