Linda and Peter Hoffman Writing Lecture: Psychoeducation as Frame for Grant Writing

Psychoeducation is an evidence-based clinical model that has been applied in a range of community settings worldwide. Beyond its obvious implications for teaching and training, psychoeducation also has great potential for planning, program development and evaluation in the context of grant writing and implementation science. The talk will focus on the how the model can create insight and connection at all stages of the process. This includes the steps for promoting the exchange and synergy of professional and every day knowledge in a range of settings.
ABOUT THE LINDA AND PETER HOFFMAN WRITING LECTURE
Columbia School of Social Work’s biennial Linda and Peter Hoffman Writing Lecture aims to prepare social work professionals to influence human service systems through effective writing. CSSW students are the primary audience, and we also welcome faculty, staff, alumni, and guests to attend. This year’s guest speaker is Dr. Ellen Lukens.
