This spring you have an opportunity to enroll in a 3 credit course: integrative social work practice with refugees and other displaced persons with a trip to
Cyprus during the spring break of 2023. The course is open to a limited number of students and enrollment is based on an application.

The project-based course will cover the global and local response to refugee issues. Applications are open to all, but priority will be given to 2nd year students with some spots reserved for 1st year students. You must be able to commit to working on a collaborative project with an agency in Cyprus for this course.

All travel costs will be covered by students. The costs are estimated to be between $1300-$1700. Eligible students can request the costs to be covered by their
financial aid package. Questions should be directed to swfinaid@columbia.edu. Language is not a prerequisite and the course is open to students of all method areas.
