INFO SESSION: Class & Trip to Jordan

Don’t miss this chance to learn all about an exciting new 3-credit course being offered this spring: Social Work with Refugees and Displaced Persons. The course contents include Jordanian history, the global and local response to refugee issues, and social work practice with refugees and displaced persons. Also included is a trip to Jordan during Spring Break of 2017. The course will be open to 15-20 students and enrollment is based on an application process. The info session will take place in Room 802. IT WILL BE REPEATED IN THE SAME ROOM ON THE SAME DAY @ 6:00–7:00 p.m.
NOTES:
- Applications are open to all students, but priority will be given to 2nd-year students.
- Applications are due by Saturday, November 12th @ 6 PM via email: socialworkwithrefugees@gmail.com
- All travel costs must be covered by students. The costs are estimated to be between $2,300–$2,500.
- Language is not a prerequisite and the course is open to students in all method areas.
