Emerging Technology, Media and Society Minor Open House

The Emerging Technology, Media and Society (EMS) minor is currently open to residential students who are interested in advancing 21st-century social work practice, policy, and research. Students will obtain foundational and advanced skills and knowledge regarding emerging technological tools; engage key stakeholders in technology innovation, development and policy; explore applications of Artificial Intelligence (AI), augmented, virtual and mixed reality (AR/VR/XR); and will examine issues through a lens of power, racism, oppression and privilege (PROP).
