At the Fellows and Awards portion of the Society for Social Work and Research Conference (SSWR) 2019, Associate Professor Heidi Allen will be presented with the Social Policy Research Award, while Associate Professor Desmond Patton will be made a SSWR Fellow. The presenters are SSWR President Ruth Dunkle of the University of Michigan, and awards committee chair Laura Abrams of the University of California, Los Angeles.
