Conference Description

Join us* for a dynamic live-online conference where we will explore various models for treating trauma and complex trauma. Delve into discussions on the intricacies of and considerations for integrating the different frameworks.

The day will open with a keynote address on Sensorimotor Therapy by Dr. Pat Ogden followed by six breakout sessions covering advancements in Psychedelic Assisted Therapy and the integration of different models including, but not limited to, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Internal Family Systems (IFS), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), and Somatic Experiencing (SE). Additional presentations will include in-depth case examples to examine complex trauma’s impact on intimate partnership relationships and explore the unique overlap between complex trauma and Borderline Personality Disorder. Come gain valuable insights in a day of exploration and learning!

The goal of this conference is to enhance your practice with:

  • An increased understanding of the opportunities and indications for integrating certain therapies when treating clients with trauma
  • New ideas for how to further integrate your current clinical skills and knowledge when working with trauma
  • Insight into which model(s)/training you may want to further pursue in order to augment your clinical toolkit

*Please note: OPE will have a process to accommodate FULL-DAY attendees seeking CE hours who need to leave early for religious observances. See CE attendance requirements below.
