University Life, in partnership with the Office of the Vice Provost for Faculty Advancement, invites you to join us for the Black and Latinx Roundtable with Columbia Faculty. At this roundtable event, Columbia faculty will share their experiences navigating their identities as members of the Black and Latinx/a/o community in higher education. Food and University Life swag will be provided.

The discussion will be moderated by Adina Berrios Brooks, Associate Provost for Faculty Diversity and Inclusive Pathways, Office of the Vice Provost for Faculty Advancement. Panelists include:

Frances Negron, Professor of English and Comparative Literature
Jose L. McFaline-Figueroa, Assistant Professor of Biomedical Engineering
Kellie Bryant, Associate Professor of Nursing at Columbia University Irving Medical Center
Nina Alvarez, Columbia Business School Assistant Professor of International Journalism
Rob Eschmann, Associate Professor of Social Work

Registration is recommended, but not required. Please bring your Columbia ID.

The roundtable is part of The Graduate Initiative for Inclusion and Engagement. This program was designed with the needs of students from historically marginalized communities in mind, including BIPOC and first-generation students. All students are welcome.
