TEACH-IN AT THE MILLER THEATRE

FREE AND OPEN TO THE PUBLIC; LIVESTREAM AVAILABLE; REGISTRATION REQUIRED.

This summer, as immigrant families were separated at the U.S. border, social workers watched with horror. We know the devastating impact separation can have on parents and children. Policies that separate minority families have a grim history in the United States, but we can play an important role in reversing them. At this teach-in, experts from leading service organizations will address the negative effects of “zero tolerance” immigration policy and envision what a more just policy would look like.
