How do deferrals work?
Students who have been admitted to the School of Social Work and paid the nonrefundable enrollment deposit can defer their start date by six months or a year, without having to reapply. Deferrals must be made in writing to the Office of Admissions by August 31st (fall start applicants) or by December 31st (spring start applicants), requesting the next available Fall or Spring terms.
NOTE: Any requests received after these dates will not be approved and you must reapply for your desired term. Multiple deferrals are not permitted.
