I see that Orientation includes required sessions on Professional Development & Self-Awareness. Can you tell me more about that?

Professional Development & Self-Awareness (PDSA) is a student-led initiative housed under the Office of Diversity, Equity & Inclusion. The mission is to promote an inclusive environment that fosters the development of self-awareness and accountability at the School of Social Work and beyond. Our School is deeply committed to creating a community that acknowledges and challenges the many forms of injustice and oppression. We strive to provide support for programs and events related to social justice issues and space for significant discussions and actions to occur. Your engagement with PDSA begins at Orientation. These Orientation sessions are organized by CSSW students and facilitated by students, instructors, staff, alumni and community members.
