Rachel Goldsmith, LCSW-R, is the Associate Vice President for the Domestic Violence Shelter Programs at Safe Horizon, where she provides leadership and management direction for eight domestic violence shelters and scattered site programs. She is also an experienced clinician in individual and group settings with expertise in the treatment of client-centered, trauma-informed services for survivors of domestic violence and their children. Ms. Goldsmith is a graduate of Columbia University School of Work where she chose a clinical/contemporary social issues concentration. Additionally, she received a Bachelors in Social Welfare from Stony Brook University and earned an Advanced Certificate in Trauma Studies from the Institute for Contemporary Psychotherapy.
