Marisa Mabli is an LCSW who has worked as an individual and group therapist and a supervisor and administrator at Bridge Back to Life, an outpatient substance abuse treatment center in Coney Island. She provided services for adults, adolescents, couples and families struggling with and impacted by addiction. Using a variety of client-centered approaches, Ms. Mabli specialized in providing therapy to Dually Diagnosed clients. Ms. Mabli’s career has also included extensive work with adolescents, homeless adults and families, and young children.
Ms. Mabli obtained her MSW at Simmons College and her BA in Social Sciences Interdisciplinary at SUNY Stony Brook. She holds a post-graduate certificate in Spirituality and Social Work, and her practice uses principles of mindfulness and Motivational Interviewing. In addition to her work at Columbia, she also teaches within the CUNY system at Kingsborough Community College.
