Over the past three decades Ms. Astudillo has worked at and managed mental health and social work staff at some of New York City’s leading youth oriented mental health organizations, including The Children’s Aid Society where she served as Deputy Director of the Health and Wellness Division and Director of Mental Health Services, Mount Sinai Adolescent Health Center, New York Presbyterian Hospital –Weil Cornell Medical College and NY Child Study Center. Ms. Astudillo has extensive training and experience in working with children and families exposed to trauma and is determined to bring a trauma lens approach to her work.

She currently works at Partnership with Children where her job includes programmatic oversight of all school-based social and emotional support programs. In addition, she works pro bono for several national not for profit   agencies servicing undocumented Latino children and families and recently has been involved in a research project funded by UNICEF to address the needs of unaccompanied minors living in NYC. Ms. Astudillo has a Masters in Social Work from Yeshiva University, a Post Graduate Certificate in Advance Clinical Social Work from Hunter College as well as a Post Master’s Certificate in Executive Leadership in the Not-For-Profit Sector from NYU.
