Mr. Jarron Magallanes, LCSW, ACSW has experience as both a clinical social worker and social work manager. He has worked in health care settings (community-based and hospital), homeless services, HIV/AIDS prevention and domestic violence. He currently maintains a full-time private practice in New York City. He is a Social Welfare doctoral student at CUNY Graduate Center and is also on faculty at Hunter College Silberman School of Social Work where he teaches Advanced Clinical Practice courses to MSW students. His research interests are in quantitative research methods, LGBTQ issues, medical care coordination and chronic disease management, HIV prevention interventions and program evaluation. He received his M.S. from Columbia University School of Social Work.
